Please see below the Nomination/Voting timeline and procedure for selecting the New Church Board Members and New Priest Candidate

Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19, 2023
When you arrive to Church for the liturgy, every registered member of St. Anthony Church above the age of 18 will be handed a sheet of paper. Please use this to write the names of any church members you see qualified to serve on the church board. You are allowed to nominate as many people as you see fit. The nominees must be above the age of 21 and must be a member of St. Anthony Church. Please consider youth and elder, male and female. Be sure to return this paper before you leave the church.

Saturday, November 25, 2023
The names and photos of the members that received the most nominations will be displayed for two consecutive weeks.

Tuesday, December 5th, 2023
All St. Anthony Church members, above the age of 18, will receive a “test” text message to ensure that everyone is receiving the church text messages before we send out the official voting link the following Friday.

If you are a registered member of St. Anthony Church, above the age of 18, and don’t receive this “test” text message on December 5th, please contact Fr. Daoud at 407-687-3094

Friday, December 8, 2023 (Electing the new Church Board Members)
All eligible St. Anthony church members will receive a text message containing a link and code. When you click this link and enter the code, you will see the names and photos of the nominees. From here you can vote any number of them that you see fit to serve on the new Church Board Committee.

Once you’ve clicked those you wish to vote, please make sure to click submit in order for your votes to go through the system.

Each church member will only be able to vote one time via their personal phone number.

Your votes are completely anonymous and cannot be seen by anyone nor are they linked to your name.

Voting will open on Friday, December 8 at 1pm and will close on Sunday, December 10 at 1pm.

Sunday, December 10, 2023
Voting for the new Church Board Members closes at 1pm.

Friday, December 15, 2023 (Voting for new priest candidate)
All eligible St. Anthony Church members will receive another text message containing a link and new code. When you click on the link and enter the new code, you will see the name and photo of the new priest candidate for St. Anthony Church, Dr. David Habib.

You will be able to vote yes or no on his nomination for priesthood.

Please share any comments in the space provided and especially if you vote “no.”

Please make sure to click submit in order for your vote to go through the system.

Each church member will only be able to vote one time via their personal phone number.

Your votes are completely anonymous and cannot be seen by anyone nor are they linked to your name.

Voting will open on Friday, December 15 at 1pm and will close on Sunday, December 17 at 1pm.

Voting for the new priest candidate closes at 1pm.

Saturday, December 23, 2023
We will announce the results of the new Church Board Members who have been chosen to serve for the next 3 year cycle (January 2024 - December 2026), as well as the result of the new priest candidate.

We pray that God chooses His faithful servants who will do all things according to His will.
